Who is responsible for your information?
Berkshire Heathrow Ltd, company number 12624604, trading as Berkshire Heathrow Construction (“BHC”, “we”, “us” or “our”), is the controller responsible for personal information collected through this website and during project enquiries.
Privacy enquiries can be sent to contact@berkshireheathrow.com.
Information we collect
- Contact details, including your name, telephone number and email address.
- Project information, including postcode, project type, descriptions, plans, drawings and photographs you choose to provide.
- Records of our correspondence and information needed to prepare, manage or support a quotation or project.
- Limited technical and security information, such as IP address, browser or device information and submission logs used to protect the website and enquiry form.
- Cookie preferences and analytics information only where optional analytics is enabled and you have made the relevant choice.
Why we use it
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Reviewing and responding to an enquiry, arranging a visit and preparing a quotation. | Taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. |
| Managing agreed work, communication, payment, warranty and aftercare. | Performance of a contract and, where relevant, legal obligations. |
| Protecting the website, preventing spam or misuse and maintaining security records. | Our legitimate interests in operating a secure and reliable service. |
| Maintaining business, tax, insurance, safety and dispute records. | Legal obligations and our legitimate interests in establishing or defending legal claims. |
| Measuring website use through optional analytics. | Your consent, where analytics is enabled. |
Submitting an enquiry does not add you to a marketing list. If we introduce optional marketing, we will ask separately where consent is required and provide a simple way to stop it.
Who receives information?
We share personal information only where reasonably necessary with service providers supporting website hosting, email and secure form delivery; Cloudflare for Turnstile form protection; professional advisers; insurers; and trusted suppliers or subcontractors involved in assessing or delivering your requested work. We may also disclose information where required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we require an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism or other safeguard required by UK data-protection law.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not proceed are normally retained for no longer than 24 months after the last meaningful contact.
- Client, project and financial records are normally retained for six years after the relevant relationship or financial period, and longer only where required for warranties, safety records, insurance, a dispute or another legal obligation.
- Uploaded plans and photographs follow the retention period of the enquiry or project to which they relate.
- Security logs are retained only for the period reasonably needed to detect, investigate and prevent misuse.
We review information and securely delete or anonymise it when it is no longer required.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You can also object to certain processing.
Your right to object: you may object to processing based on our legitimate interests and to direct marketing at any time. Contact us using the email address above.
We do not use solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. If you remain concerned after contacting us, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

You must not attempt to damage the website, interfere with its security, introduce malicious material, misuse forms or access systems without permission.
Project information and quotations

Unless stated otherwise, the website design, branding, written content and project imagery are owned by or licensed to BHC. You may view and print reasonable extracts for your own project enquiry, but you must not reproduce, publish, sell or commercially exploit them without written permission.
External links
Links to mapping, reviews, social networks and other third-party services are provided for convenience. Those services control their own content, availability and privacy practices.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to that qualification, BHC is not responsible for loss caused solely by reliance on general website content, by an unavailable third-party service, or by events outside our reasonable control.
